Fatima Zahra Charitable Association Condemns ISIL

Fatima Zahra Charitable Association (FZCA) condemns the mass killing and genocide of Shias in Iraq by members of the extremist Sunni terrorist group going by the name abbreviated to ISIL.  ISIL continues to execute any Shias they captured or who have surrendered.  The actions of ISIL have demonstrated the hatred that extremist Sunnis have for anyone who does not share their belief in general and Shias in particular.

The mass killing and/or abuse of Shias by Sunni extremists has been continuing for many years in countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Indonesia, Malaysia and Bahrain.  The actions of extremists in Iraq have shown to the world what Shias have been suffering while the world has turned a blind eye because of presumed political and economic benefits.

Fatima Zahra Charitable Association (FZCA) asks world leaders and decent human being to give any assistance necessary to the Iraq government to defeat the terrorist group ISIL and anyone cooperating with them.

FZCA Condemns attacks against the Shrine of Hurj ibn Adi

05 May 2013 / 24 Jmaadi al-Thaani 1434

Fatima Zahra Charitable Association (FZCA) condemns the latest atrocities by Sunni extremists against the shrine of Hujr ibn Adi, Shia individuals and their religious sites in Syria. Furthermore, FZCA demands that the United States and other Western countries stop their support of terrorists and terrorist groups in Syria and their support of oppressive governments in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

FZCA would like to express its discontent in regards to the silence of or lack of any substantial efforts by the United Nations and human rights organizations worldwide about the atrocities being committed against Shias worldwide. In addition, it would like to express its abhorrence that the United States and European countries are giving assistance in various forms to groups and governments responsible for slaughtering, torturing and oppressing Shias.

We believe the world must admit the reality of the crimes being committed against those who follow the Shia belief in countries such as Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Malaysia and any other targeting of Shias because of their religious beliefs. It should be noted that such atrocities are committed against Shias because of their beliefs and all efforts should be made to stop such crimes against Shias. It should be admitted that Shias are not the cause of such attacks by Sunni extremists and that attack against Shias are not sectarian violence that involves both Shias and Sunnis. If there has been any retaliation by Shias, it has been only for defensive purposes and after years of atrocities committed against them.

Otherwise, without substantial and concrete effort, the statements made by those who claim to champion human rights and freedom will be nothing but rhetoric lacking any substance.
